You really can't complain when the wedding is on the beach in Tulum, Mexico. Weather was perfect. Bride and groom and their respective families were wonderful. The beach was guarded by Polly the dog, keeping the riff-raff and police at bay. The ceremony was performed by a shaman. And a rainbow peeked across the ocean during the vows. Everything took place at the fantastic La Zebra in Tulum with food provided by Lina's Mexican Kitchen. (Holy cow, the tacos...yum!)

Amanda and Dave had the best idea for their engagement shoot, taking a little trip to a place where they shared an amazing picnic date: Stockholm, Wisconsin. We walked around town, picked up some pie, then made our way to a farm that serves fantastic pizza. Best date ever, even with me as the third wheel. Flowers were provided by the always amazing La Petite Fleur.

Kirby and Tyler's wedding was a perfect mix of glam and DIY. Her Lela Rose dress was from L'atelier Couture in Minneapolis. The flowers were by Big Lake Floral. All of the ties were from a little tie shop in NYC for $10. A Badgley Mischka sequined dress to wear later at the reception with her vintagey red earrings from Etsy. The ceremony took place at St. Mary's Church in St. Paul with the reception following at the wonderful 413 on Wacouta where Green Mill did the catering.

Sarah and Steve were married at Black Bear Crossing on the Lake in St. Paul with their reception following at the new Manitou Station in White Bear Lake. (And yes, in between those 2 locations we did stop at the North St. Paul snowman.) Ridiculously awesome florals by my favorite La Petite Fleur. Their incredibly adorable pooch is played by Nola the black lab.

Irving, Huey and their people

How fun is it to have a shoot centered around a dog? Answer: VERY! Irving is newly adopted to his people family and was such a fun pooch to shoot. Treats were everywhere! And little kitty Huey was so sweet and wide-eyed. Plus, we added some people into the mix too! Enjoy!!

He was a little early, but all who love him were excited that he was finally here. I was lucky enough to spend some time with this little dude and his Mom and Dad while he was still a tiny peanut. Welcome, Maxwell!
